Josie is a landscape & architectural designer based in Seattle, Washington & originally from Middle Tennessee. Through her studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, she has professional degrees in Architecture, Sustainability, & Landscape Architecture. Her interests lie in the intersection between the built world & the natural environment around it. How can design not only make communities better but the ecological footprint & ecosystems that surround them as well?

With a design background, she has skills in a variety of drawing types, BIM modeling, & model making. She is an avid writer with multiple research projects, including the Aydelott Travel Scholarship Research + a Chancellor’s Honors Thesis. Her community involvement includes the SPEAK Garden on Tennessee’s campus that organically grows fruits & veggies to donate back to campus.
